I was so very shocked and saddened to hear about Terry's unexpected death. He delivered our fruit and veg for many, many years, but was only in the last year and a half, while I've been working from home during the pandemic, that I got to know him well. He was a reassuring, regular visitor in these very strange times, and often the only other (non-family) person I saw during the week. We always had a good old chat on the doorstep, about his family, his cat Lulu, and whatever else was in the news that week. His face would light up when Megan our cat appeared to say hello and be petted by Terry. He was such a lovely man, kind and caring and of course an exemplary delivery driver. My sincere condolences to his family, who should take some comfort from the fact that Terry was so loved and respected by his Farmaround customers, and will be sadly missed by so many. We would like to send our condolences and best wishes to you, Terry's family. Terry cheerfully delivered vegetables to us for over 20 years. Over the years, we had many friendly chats on the doorstep about the ups and downs of our respective lives- from significant family events happy and sad to Terry's great joy at the comfort brought by his wood burning stove. To us, Terry was a legend amongst delivery drivers-he was always very concerned not only that we had received our veg safely if we'd been out when he called the previous week but more importantly that we'd enjoyed our veg. Our deepest condolences on Terrys passing. He delivered our vegetables every week for a good 15 years and we always enjoyed our weekly chats on the doorstep covering subjects such as: DIY, moving house and the state of the world. He contributed greatly to our household not just through his deliveries but also through his gentle spirit and friendly nature. We'll miss him. Lots of love Peter and Mel
